The District recently received notification that Ohio Facilities Construction Committee (OFCC) has assigned Stacey Thomas as the project manager for the construction of Logan Elm’s new PK-12 building. In the upcoming weeks, the District will participate in their first planning meeting for this construction project. After the initial planning meeting, the next step in the process will be working with OFCC to advertise for, interview and hire an architect.

The District has employed Mike Mendenhall of Mendenhall MCS and Associates to represent them during the planning and construction phase of the project. Mr. Mendenhall is a Chillicothe native and has a wealth of knowledge regarding planning, design and construction of new schools. Most recently, Mr. Mendenhall worked for Chillicothe City Schools during the construction of their new buildings. Prior to starting Mendenhall MCS and Associates, he worked for Ohio Facilities Construction Commission.
