The parent sponsored club started last winter with a group of students identified in the Discovery program which includes: Cameron Aume, Hugh Carstensen, James Dale, Garett Lewis, and Connor Stonerock. The boys are coached by Victor Aume and Chris Dale.

They are now preparing for their first competition in Chillicothe to be held in December. In addition to the Lego robot tasks they have to program and execute (which have a food contamination theme this year); they are also working on a research project to address Salmonella contamination in egg production. To get some background information for the research project, they toured an egg processing and packaging plant, and an Amish-operated certified organic egg producing farm a few weeks ago.
