Ø Considering the employment of C. Asa Bradbury as Superintendent of Schools effective January 1, 2005 through July 31, 2008.

The Logan Elm Board of Education at a special meeting held May 18, 2004 named Asa Bradbury Superintendent of Schools effective January 1, 2005.  Mr. Bradbury will succeed John Edgar who is retiring December 31, 2004.

Asa Bradbury, formerly of Middleport, Ohio is a thirty two year resident of the Logan Elm School District.  He is a graduate of Marietta College, possesses a master’s degree from the College of Mount Saint Joseph, and has completed extensive post-graduate work at the University of Dayton and Ohio University.  Mr. Bradbury has been actively involved in Dr. William Larson’s Ohio University Leadership Project for the past six years.  He has twenty three years of classroom teaching and administrative experience.  Mr. Bradbury currently serves as the Principal of the Pickaway-Ross Career and Technology Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.

He is married to the former Janie Wright of Circleville.  They are the parents of Nicole Hatter, Kingston and Jeff Bradbury, Circleville, and have one grandson, Drew Hatter, a third grade student at Pickaway Elementary.

Mr. Bradbury states that he is honored to have the opportunity to serve the Logan Elm School District in the capacity of Superintendent of Schools.

Ø Accepting the resignation of Tim Hale, Science Teacher (LEHS) and Head Football Coach.

Ø Employing Ron Stephens on a one (1) year supplemental contract as Head Varsity Football Coach for the 2004-05 school year.
